Noble Tree Wickersham Ranch 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (SRP $25): Deep ruby, purple in color, this is a solid, everyday drinking Cabernet Sauvignon from a high-altitude site in northwestern Sonoma County. Inviting aromas of red berry fruit mixed with baking spices are joined by purple stone fruit, cracked black peppercorns and star anise on the palate. In the mouth, it’s well-balanced and supple with a good lift of juicy acidity propping up the velvet-like texture. A satisfying, medium-long finish caps off this medium-to-fuller bodied wine.
