Rocca Di Castagnoli 2013 Chianti Classico (SRP $25): This Chianti Classico pours ruby-red with purple hues. Inviting scents of leather, mint, and muted dried herbs accent tart cherry and red licorice flavors. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied, fresh and a little juicy, with nice texture, all supported by slightly dusty tannins and notable vivacity. A pleasing, fruity finish caps off this delightful sipper.
